A well-balanced Hebrew School education will develop in our students a commitment to using Jewish values as a guide to the decisions of life, community, and life-long learning and teaching.
This program offers a comprehensive Hebrew and Jewish studies curriculum. Children learn to read and write Hebrew and gain an appreciation for the ‘why's and ‘how's, of contemporary Jewish life.
All this is done with an enjoyable hands on arts, activities and games program. Here the children explore their heritage through a fun and creative approach.
General Curriculum
Hebrew
Our Hebrew reading program begins with letter recognition for our youngest children, followed by the “Aleph Champ” reading program. Aleph Champ adopted the color system used in karate‐‐“white belt to “black belt”‐‐to motivate Hebrew reading in Hebrew Schools.
Every student is encouraged to work at their own pace to acquire fluency and speed in their Hebrew reading. Our goal is that upon graduation, every child will be very comfortable with reading Hebrew especially the common parts of the Siddur.
Jewish Holiday
We use various artistic mediums to learn about each holiday—whether art, craft, song or activity. Before each activity, your child will learn the meaning behind the holiday, its background, and practical application to today's day. We also learn about other topics such as Shabbat, the main stories of the Torah, as well as the love of Israel our Homeland.
Jewish values
Jewish values are infused throughout each lesson. We stress the importance of deriving valuable life lessons from each holiday and Jewish culture. It's not enough to just learn about it - children are encouraged to and will be recognized for applying these values on a day to day basis in their own lives.
Israel
Our students will attain an affection for our heritage and the uniqueness of our homeland Israel.
Jewish History
The students gain an appreciation of our heritage and culture that has been preserved throughout the ages.
CKIDS Bereishis
Imagine your child coming home from Hebrew School talking about cotton candy sculptures, exploding rainbow experiments, and homemade NeeDohs—but they could also tell you about Rivka’s kindness, Avraham’s hospitality, and why they are proud to be Jewish in 2026.
That's exactly what we're bringing to Hebrew School this year with our brand-new Ckids Bereishis curriculum, exploring the roots of our people as recounted in the first book of the Torah.
Every lesson is packed with hands-on activities—experiments, crafts, recipes, storytelling, hunts, games, and presentations that help children experience Judaism in a very meaningful and real way. Behind every game, recipe, science experiment, and creative project is a foundational Jewish concept they'll remember long after class is over. From kiddush factory kits to snake tag, airbrush totes or exploding rainbows, our goal at Ckids Hebrew School is to ensure that learning about Judaism is an unforgettable, enriching experience all around.
One highlight of this year’s curriculum is a global CKids Giving Day, a collaboration with Pantry Packers that makes giving back to the community an exciting hands-on experience.
In Ckids Bereishis, (Wed 4:30-6:30) we will explore big questions like: Who am I? Where do I come from? What makes me proud to be Jewish?
Along the way, we’ll discover the timeless values of our Torah heroes, create memories that make Hebrew School the highlight of their week, and inspire the next generation of proud and empowered Jews.
In CKIDS Clubs (7 Sundays 12pm) Prepare for every Jewish holiday through hands-on adventures your child will never forget. Each CKids Club experience brings the meaning, traditions, and excitement of the upcoming holiday to life through creativity, games, and unforgettable fun. CKids Clubs takes children on an exciting journey through the Jewish year with seven unforgettable, hands-on experiences, each designed t`o help them learn about and prepare for an upcoming Jewish holiday.
Before each holiday arrives, children will discover its story, traditions, mitzvot, and meaning—not just by hearing about it, but by experiencing it!
Through creativity, games, interactive activities, and larger-than-life adventures, CKids Clubs makes Jewish learning exciting, memorable, and fun. Children come home knowing more, feeling connected, and excited to celebrate the holiday with their families.
