What is a Shabbaton Retreat?
A Shabbaton is a retreat that takes place over a Shabbat weekend to connect, unite and rejuvenate. Demanding schedules and hectic days often leave us with little time to explore our spiritual side. At the Tampa Bay Shabbaton Retreat, experience Judaism and community in its most exhilarating form. Indulge your mind and spirit with meaning, self-discovery and plenty of good laughter.

Everything! 2 nights stay at the Westin Tampa Bay. 5 Gourmet meals by Sylvia & Shani Catering. Shabbat Services. Classes. Guest speakers. Saturday Night Entertainment.
When is the Shabbaton Retreat? How much does it cost?
The Shabbaton will take place Friday May 17 Through Sunday May 19.
The cost is $450 pp base on double occupancy. Single Occupancy $650 & additional child in your room is $225
EARLY BIRDS pricing until March 25th is $400 pp base on double occupancy. Single Occupancy $600 & additional child in your room is $200
Where is the Shabbaton Retreat?
The Shabbaton will take place at the luxuries Westin Tampa Bay located at 7627 W Courtney Campbell Causeway. The hotel is centrally located in Tampa with beautiful views of the Bay.
Do I have to be a member? Will I feel uncomfortable if I don’t usually attend Chabad?
Not at all! The regular Chabad community consists of people who consider themselves reform, conservative, traditional, modern-orthodox, ultra-orthodox, converts, hassidim.. you name it! As for us, we don’t believe in labels. We believe a Jew is a Jew no matter his/her background or level of observance. So leave your labels at the door and join us for a re”jew”vinating Shabbat!
Will there be a children’s program?
Yes. There will be a comprehensive camp schedule and entertainment for the children throughout the weekend. Stay tuned for details.
I am coming by myself, can I share a room to get the double occupancy rate?
Sure. Please reach out to Rabbi@Chabadatwiregrass and we will do our best to pair you with a roommate. Please note that we do not guarantee this will become an option.
